3rd Grade - March 2024

What a joy it is to learn about Jesus through our lessons and class discussions. We see God’s glory in our multiplication tables, which remind us that God is a God of order. He is glorified in our reading when we recognize that He is a God of truth and creativity. We see God as a God of beauty in our Art lessons, and we see His goodness and strength as we appreciate the abilities He has given us to participate in PE. How wonderful it is to see and teach the joy of the Lord in all we do!

We all enjoyed our Spring Break—a great chance to rest, relax, travel, rejuvenate, and get ready for the race to the finish line! Some students traveled across the U.S., from Texas to Florida, while others stayed close to home. We are thankful for the opportunity to take a break.

We have started our class novel study of Charlotte’s Web. It’s so exciting as a teacher to see the whole class diving into reading and begging not to stop—they always want “one more chapter!” Next month, we will have the chance to see Charlotte’s Web as a live-action play at Stephen’s Auditorium.

At the beginning of this month, we celebrated our student of the month, Emily Stahr, who was chosen for showing love to everyone around her.
