Greetings from the 3rd Grade!
What a fantastic school year we have had so far in our 3rd grade class! We are truly blessed to be part of a nurturing and faith-filled environment at our Trinity, where we not only learn academics but also grow in our faith and understanding of God's love.
One of the highlights of our year was our exciting field trip to Ledges State Park! The beautiful scenery and fresh air made for a perfect day of exploration and learning. We enjoyed hiking the trails, observing the unique wildlife, and appreciating God's creation all around us. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to bond as a class and create memories together while reflecting on the beauty of the world God has made.
In math, we have been diving into multiplication! Our class is working hard to master our multiplication facts, and we are having fun with games and activities that make learning engaging and enjoyable. We are excited to see our progress and can't wait to use these skills in our everyday lives!
Additionally, we are thrilled to have started two new curriculums this year: Fundations for phonics and Wit and Wisdom for literacy. Fundations has been a fantastic tool for helping us strengthen our phonics skills, allowing us to read with more confidence. With Wit and Wisdom, we are exploring great literature and developing our comprehension skills, all while discussing themes that connect with our faith and values.
As we continue through the school year, we are grateful for the support of our teachers, families, and church community. Thank you for your prayers and encouragement as we grow in knowledge and faith together!
