Preschool - April 2023

This month preschoolers have been learning about the changes in weather, our environment, and in nature. We have been amazed by watching flowers grow, worms wiggle and our ants create their colony. God is AMAZING!

Spring changes are such a natural way to use our math skills for measuring shadows

and tulip growth, counting how many different “raindrops” fit in a dish and graphing our

changing weather days!

We have continued our journey to master letter identification (upper and lowercase)

through games, books, songs and letter writing. The joy we share when we read stories and send letters to others is a daily blessing. We are delighted to share get well cards, thank you cards, I love you cards and our prayers!!

The weather has been unpredictable but we did make it outside to pick up litter as we journeyed through our Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Study. We learned how God wants us

to take care of the earth just as we take care of each other.

We had special guest visitors who helped us learn about the journey our trash goes on, how a plastic bottle can change and what a garbage truck looks like up close. A huge

thank you to all our guests and for letting us learn with you! We created treasures out of amazing junk and even marched in our recycled band! We are blessed with endless

energy & joy!

“This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine.” Preschoolers have learned that not only

did Jesus commission the apostles in Matthew 28:16-20 to go forth and share the life and love of Jesus but we are called to do the same. We are not to “hide it (our faith) under a bushel. No! We’re gonna let it shine.” May you let the light of Jesus shine in you brightly today and always!

Prayers From Preschool!
